Happy (almost!) Holidays!

I feel like the world's worst blogger, I'm so sorry! I need to catch you up on a few things since I haven't posted in forever! I have enjoyed my first term in high school as a freshman and am glad to be rid of middle school. :) I have gotten pretty good grades so far, and am liking most of my classes okay. I've made some friends and am doing well.

I want to update over the holidays and such, so I'm going to try to get pictures up of traditions and holiday fun. But first, I've gotta go back a bit:


Halloween was so fun! We had the usual dinner of hot dog mummies, potato ghosts, and bread spiders. Yum! I stayed home on halloween and played with Taylor, and after she left I watched "The Village" with Rebecca and Mom. It was fun. Above is our annual haunted house made out of chocolate graham crackers and other various halloween-colored treats (with the occasional lego!). The creepy shadow of whoever took this picture (uh, Rachel?) adds to the overall halloween-ish effect. :) And yes, Harry Potter is sticking out of the chimney and Gilderoy Lockhart is greeting victims at the door. Doesn't get any better than this. ;)

Apparently, I like to take pictures of trees. It snowed a bit today and I feel really into the Christmas-y spirit. But it's November. So, above; Autumn tree. Below; same tree, same season, different look. I suppose we could say winter....

I couldn't help it. Snow+homework procrastinator that grew up in a less snowy place (me)= a badly made mini snowman that has a new home in the freezer. It's cute in a way. ;)

I also like to take pictures of our rose bushes. How can I not? They're roses in the front yard for goodness sake!

Well, like I said, I'm gonna try to update more. Sorry. I say this every time.

Summer is fun. I've been reading a lot and seeing tons of movies. Okay, it's really not that fun. I'm bored. All the time. Any ideas of things I can do this summer? Anyone? *Sigh* I'm gonna try to make this post sound as interesting as I can ;)

I walked to the museum that Rebecca works at and took some pictures. Rebecca calls it the "dead zoo", which makes me laugh. :) This butterfly is actually a whole bunch of littler butterflies and moths made to look like one huge one from further away. Sweet, huh?

Okay, this little animal is some weird, teeny tiny thing called a Dik-dik or something. I think it sort of looks like a deer of some sort. I don't know why, but it's my favorite animal in that museum.

It's been raining a whole lot lately, but I think we are done with the rain for the rest of the summer now. :( It was like, ninety degrees today. But I took a picture of a rose in our front yard and I thought it was pretty. So I put it on here. :)

Here is a picture I took of Taylor today in what I think is a really funny position. I think she is trying to play with the bunny ears on her feet...

For some odd reason, Dad has been loving the dollar theater quite a lot lately. We went to "Taken"(loved it! We actually bought it for dad for Father's day, so we own it now!) a few weeks ago, and last week we saw "Knowing"(a big no), and then went to "17 Again"(really funny and cute, and it had Zac Efron in it!) right after! This week we saw "The Soloist"(so-so). Wow, that is a lot of movies!

Also, I love the Harry Potter books now! I only have about one hundred pages left in the first one. I can't put it down! And, I have to go to Girls Camp in less than a week. Another random thing I thought I'd throw out there; I'm going to the Jonas Brothers concert on the fourth of July at the Stadium of Fire! :D Me, Rachel, Michelle, and Mom are all going! (and we are trying to talk Dad into going, but we haven't made much progress) Well, all done updating!

Busy busy busy...

I'm really sorry I haven't posted in a long time, our computer's internet connection wouldn't let us get onto blogs. I know; weird, huh? But now we have a new computer and it's working fine. I have been super busy with everything and I wanted to give you a replay of everything that's happened since the forever ago that I last posted :) Since I haven't posted since february-ish, I'm gonna start in April:I turned fourteen on April tenth, so this is a picture of my birthday shrine from the "birthday fairy" ;) Andrew shares my birthday of course, so he is now four! Also, exciting exciting exciting; Andrew got a little sister on April 9th! Adelaide Ella was born a day before mine and Andrew's birthday! Hooray! Now there are two boys and three girls! Oh, how I love being an aunt!

Uncle Brian and Brennan visited UT, so we drove over to Salt Lake City to see them and we walked around Temple square! It was fun and gorgeous.

We moved into a house literally around the corner and moving day was torture! But we accidentally stacked some boxes like this and I just HAD to take a picture, I was laughing so much. I said "Putting more boxes in more houses" Haha, like those at&t commercials saying more bars/more places. Hahaha...

We went to OR! We just got back last night, and I'm already homesick. We had so much fun seeing everyone and everything! Sydney was so cute and kept wanting to be pushed in the umbrella strollers! She is growing up so much!

We tried to get a picture of all the OR nephews and neices. Guess how well that worked out? Haha. Forrest is a lot bigger and is really active. Andrew impressed us all with his knowledge. Sydney is at the "fun stage" as dad calls it. Adelaide is still a baby, so can't do much, but is still super cute! They were all really fun to be with and have grown so much just in the past nine months that I haven't seen them. I miss all of those little ones already!

I also got to hang out with all of my friends and we had so much fun! I miss them! :( I'm sad I didn't remember to get pictures of them!

And of course I can't forget Taylor! We babysit her a couple days a week while Emily is at work. I like having her live close! :D

Now, for just some random stuff that I don't have pictures for:

1. Rachel is taking driver's ed. so dad is taking her driving sometimes. Dad asked me if I wanted to come and try, so I did! I drove around the parking lot for a couple minutes. It was scary, but really fun.
2. It's summer! "No more pencils, no more books! School's out, school's out! Teacher let the monkeys out!" <-- That's a song! Hahaha

3. I love reading, writing, and photography. Those are my most recent obsessions. :)

I'm all done with the update now, I suppose. *Sigh* That was fun.

There are ups and downs to moving. We all know it's sad but, hey, what can you do, right?I can't do anything about it but come and visit someday... I miss and love you all! Here's the new school I'm going to. :'( Centennial middle school. It's much bigger than that, though. :P

Goodbye Oregon! :(

The other night I had a little goodbye party. It was really fun, yet it was really sad saying goodbye to all the memories of Oregon. I'll miss you all when I move to Utah! *Sigh*. Bye Oregon!:(

Art Camp!!!!

This week I went to art camp. It's a blast! :) I took a piano lesson, made pottery, weaved baskets, tons of other stuff too! I also weaved a coaster/ basket liner thing (the blue thing). I'm gonna go again next week! Woot woot!!

School's out for the summer!

That's right! Summer's here! :) Call me on my new cell phone if you'd like to hang out! I'm not doing any summer camps, but I am probably going to move to Utah at some point this summer!
